FAQ
Questions worth asking before you sign up.
Is Kinetix really free?
Yes, entirely, right now. There is no billing in the product yet — the plans above are what we intend to charge once there is. You will not be asked for a card.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Kinetix runs in any modern browser. If you want it on a home screen or dock you can install it as an app, which is also what lets push notifications through on iOS. There is no app-store download.
Does it connect to Slack, GitHub or Google Calendar?
Not yet. Meetings let you paste a Google Meet, Teams or Zoom link and label it so people know where to go, but Kinetix does not talk to those services and does not host video calls itself.
Can two people edit the same thing at once?
Kinetix is not a live co-editing tool. Changes your teammates make show up when the view next loads its data, which for boards and tasks is quick — but you will not see another cursor moving across the page.
Where is my data kept?
The application runs on Vercel and the database is Neon (PostgreSQL, US East). The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
How do I get my team in?
Invite them by email address from workspace settings. Invites are links that expire, each carries the role you picked, and you can resend or revoke any of them. There is more in how teams work.
