Guides for getting work done in Kinetix, answers to the questions that come up most often, and how to reach a person when a page here does not cover it.

1.Guides

Longer explanations of the parts of Kinetix that have rules worth knowing before you rely on them.

  • How teams work — team roles and permissions, how teams relate to workspaces and projects, and the workspace settings that govern them.

2.Getting started

A workspace is the top of the tree: everything else — projects, tasks, docs, whiteboards and teams — belongs to one. Create a workspace first, invite the people you work with, then add projects inside it.

Workspace membership is what grants access. Adding someone to a team groups them for assigning work, but it does not by itself let them into the workspace — invite them to the workspace first.

3.Signing in and passwords

If you cannot remember your password, use forgot password. We email a reset link to the address on the account. The link works once and expires, so request a fresh one if it has been sitting in your inbox.

For your safety that page gives the same answer whether or not the address has an account, so nobody can use it to discover who has signed up. If no email arrives, check your spam folder and confirm you typed the address you registered with.

Already signed in and just want a new password? Change it from your profile rather than through the reset flow.

4.Repeated failed sign-ins

Sign-in and password-reset attempts are rate limited, both per account and per network. Too many failures in a short window will turn attempts away for a while. Nothing is locked permanently — wait for the window to pass and try again, or reset your password if you are guessing.

5.Policies

6.Still stuck?

Email support@kinetix.app and we will respond within a reasonable period. Telling us the workspace involved and what you expected to happen gets you a useful answer faster.
